Report: PlayStation 3 To Offer Xbox Live Competition

A few days ago there was a posting on craiglist from That Game Company, which was looking for "a superstar engineer with a strong graphics background to develop an unannounced downloadable title for the PlayStation 3 launch in November." IGN contacted Kellee Santiago and got some very intriguing news. From IGN:

IGN contacted That Game Company's developer and president Kellee Santiago who revealed that the game is for a service which will offer downloadable casual games, likely similar to Xbox Live Arcade, and will be available for download on the PlayStation 3's launch day. She went on to say the game would be a port of That Game Company's admittedly addictive, bright blue, and currently free web game flOw.

That news simply made our day. Not online will PlayStation 3 fans have an alternative to Xbox Live, but one of the first games will be fl0w, which is an incredibly addictive and fun game. It's free online and can be played here.
